Kahit ako nagulat ha… Maganda ang boses ni Mommy D, may timbre, at ito’y walang kasamang bola. Trulili lang ‘day… Mommy D, kahit gaano pa kaikli ito, meron kang future sa singing, promise!

TOGETHER again. I was so happy to see Gemma Franco who arrived with her son, upcoming balladeer Mitchell Allen Smith Jr., and her sister and brother-in-law. After 30 years, we were reunited and really it feels good. Nakakatuwa dahil family friend din sila ng Papin sisters – Gloria, Imelda and Aileen – who performed together onstage dito sa Aliw concert ni Imelda. Speaking of Imelda, the only Imeldific was ever present and stayed up to the end of the show.

Anyways, Gemma and her son will be going back to the US on February 8, and then si Mitchell Jr. ay lalaban sa international song festival sa Beijing, China this March – napili kasi si Mitchell ni no other than hitmaker Vehnee Saturno to sing four of his compositions. Solid Mar Roxas na sana ako until I heard him na binatikos ng binatikos si Sen. Villar. Gusto ko pa naman sana siyang vice president alang alang kay Korina Sanchez. But then again, my options are now open. No to Loren, no to Mar… hay… sino kaya? Careful, careful!
